Sandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Memphis with an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

Sandra joined EHC in 2006. Her professional interests are in trauma, developmental psychology and mind/body/spirit healing.  She is trained in hypnosis at the Intermediate level with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She completed academic courses at the Masters level in clinical hypnosis and she serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Medical Hypnoanalysts. She has edited an introductory book on self-hypnosis. Sandra is also Level 2 trained in EMDR. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and ISSTD, the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Other training includes Suicide Crisis Intervention, professional programs at Onsite, Inc., Shades of Hope, workshops on Dissociation, Borderline Personality Disorder and studies in Somatic Transformation concerning the neurobiology of attachment and trauma.
